Support of research projects aimed to digitalise the economy in TRL 1-3 – Digitalisation TRL 1-3 (shortened English version) The Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic, as the Executor of Component 9 of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, announces that as a part of Investment 5: Investment 5: Research and innovation for the digitalisation of the economy opens the call for proposals Support of research projects aimed to digitalise the economy in TRL 1-3 (Digitalisation TRL 1-3). The call is aimed at supporting high-quality projects of fundamental and industrial research in TRL 1-3 for the area of ​​transition to digital economy. Large projects for excellent researchers (shortened English version) The Government Office of the Slovak Republic, as the Implementer of Component 9 of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, announces that within Investment 3: Excellent Science, a call for support of outstanding scientific teams led by excellent researchers from Slovakia and abroad is being launched. These teams will carry out their research at research or innovation institutions in Slovakia. The aim of the call is to attract or retain and support individual excellent researchers and their teams in carrying out research at research institutions in Slovakia. The support will be directed towards building and developing its own research team built around a particular excellent researcher/principal investigator. Fellowships for excellent researchers R2-R4 (shortened English version) The Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic, as the Executor of Component 9 of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, announces that, as part of Investment 3: Excellent Science, a call aimed at supporting basic and applied research carried out in Slovakia by excellent domestic and foreign researchers in the R2 to R4 career phase. The call is divided into 3 types of support according to the career phase of the supported researchers: researcher scholarship R2 researcher scholarship R3 researcher’s scholarship R4 The purpose of the call is to support excellent scientists across all sectors of research and development in Slovakia. The purpose of the call is to attract top foreign researchers and to prevent the outflow of domestic top scientists abroad. Transformation and Innovation Consortia The goal of the call is to strengthen the research and innovation environment in Slovakia through funding a small number of clearly thematically defined Transformation and Innovation Consortia (TIC). These Consortia will connect public and private actors from Slovakia with leading institutions from abroad, and they will generate new research and innovation activities and projects throughout the entire innovation chain. The aim is to support the transformation of key sectors of the economy with high innovation potential, which will be defined by the applicants themselves in their submitted applications.
